This is a 2004 420D Cat Backhoe. I bought this machine new and it has been an excellent piece of equipment. I run a small excavating company in the Highlands of Virginia and the only reason I’m selling is because of economic times. This machine comes with an 18 and 36 inch bucket with a quick connect ($3000.00 value), it is also an extend-a-hoe. It has approximately 1200 hours and looks and runs as good as new. Everything works, heat, air conditioner, stereo, wipers, lights, etc. Has no leaks no metal breaks, no dents.Comparable machines on other sites run in the low to mid $50K range. At $40K, this machine is a steal. My loss is your gain. Park this hoe beside a new one, and you won’t tell the difference except for the price, you’ll pay double for a new one.
