Drott 50 Case excavator, great tractor farm crawler - 250310583735
Case Drott 50 Excavator We purchased this unit a few years ago to use on our farm. We have used it to do a few jobs and no longer need it. The gentleman who owned it last did quite a bit of work to the unit. The motor was rebuilt, the hydraulic pumps were redone, some of the cylinders had been rebuilt. Some of the hoses were replaced before we purchased the unit. It has very few hours on it since. There are many extra parts which are includedwith the excavator, including several final drives and some of the idler wheels for the tracks. Apparently these parts are quite valuable to have on hand for older machines. We also have the manuals for the machine. We have used it around the farm. It has been very reliable and we have not had any major problems with it. We aren’t sure exactly what year it is but believe it is approximately a 1980 model. The motor runs very well and does not smoke. It is quite strong and the machine will move a mountain of dirt. It has a 653 GM Detroit diesel engine which starts easily and runs strong. There are no obvious leaks on the engine or any of the cylinders. It has a fairly large (1.25 yard?) bucket. The tracks seem to be in good condition. All of the controls seem to work fine. As you would probably expect, there are various welds that have been made to the unit over the years. This is not a new unit and is sold as is. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
