Glencoe Cultivator 6ft use w/John Deere tractor etc - 300272697358
The is a used 6ft Glencoe field cultivator with a category-1,3point hitch and 7 spring loaded shanks. It takes only approximately 25 HP tractor minimum to pull this implement. The two pictures showing the work it can do in the field shows it having a harrow on it which is folded over the top. This harrow is not included. I took these pictures then sold the harrow and the ground has been too wet to retake any pictures using it without the harrow attached. The sweeps (shoes) are in good shape and should last you a long time. If or when needed they can be replaced with the same size or larger sweeps. It has been dissassembled, sand blasted and painted as the two pictures show. One nice thing about this field cultivator one person can move it around when hooking it up or two people can pick it up and load it on a small trailer. The tractor is not included!! This implement does a great job and can be used any time of the year when the ground is not frozen. By using it in the fall it will help control weed growth next spring. That will make the soil dry out quicker next spring letting you get in the field earlier. It really incorporates any chemicals or dry fertilizeryou may use. If you put out deer plots, test plots or a garden with sweet corn, pumpkins etc this is a necessary tool. It is located in Highland, IL. which is 30 miles East of St. Louis Mo..
