Maytag Engine “modified” RUNS!! - 140284259882
Here is a maytag model 92 enigine I modified for a new look. I always see people modify twins like this b/c i have one and they always draw attention, but never seen a single done. So me being a machinist and had a few maytags to play with i tore one apart and here is the result. All parts were sandblasted and painted these colors b/c it really sets it off at shows. I re-machined the block, machined the alum. pulley, alum. exhaust mount, and put on a nice chrome stack. Also machined the air breather out of brass. Its a 2-piece breather, the face threads on and off to take out the filter now and then for cleaning. I also built the poplar frame its is mounted to.
