This is a2004Vemeer Woodchipper in excellent condition! It is powered by John Deere’s 6.8 L, six-cylinder, in-line, four-valve PowerTech 6068T diesel rated 170 hp at 2500 rpm and itruns flawlessly. A new drum and a brand new set of cutting knives were recently installed.It only has 1082 hours of service. Standard on the chipper is the Vermeer SmartFeed system, designed to sense engine rpm and automatically stop the feed rollers from feeding material when The engine is at a low rpm. As engine speed returns, the SmartFeed system automatically senses the resumption and begins to feed the material again. The SmartFeed system also reverses material as necessary to allow enhanced feeding and chipping of different types and sizes of materials. Material up to 19 in. in diameter is fed to the machine through two 18 in. diameter vertically mounted feed rollers positioned ahead of the 20 in. by 24 in. cutter infeed opening. The cutting system is driven by a Sauer-Danfoss gear pump which drives two White Hydraulics motors to power the feed rollers. The feed rollers pull material toward the cutting mechanism, which consists of a 36 in. diameter cutter drum with four four-edge knives. This large-end chipper comes standard with a rotatable discharge chute with worm gear hand crank. The chute has a 270[degrees] rotation and discharges chip ping debris at a height of 110 in. The 68 in. feed table was designed to position the operator farther away from the cutting action. The chipper is also equipped with a top feed control bar and lower feed stop bar. Please note that the only Flaw this machine even comes close to having is the dent in the top rear panel! It in no way henders performance or Slows down production! I will delivery the first 200 miles for free and anything after for a 1.00 a mile!
