Case IH International 863 corn head…..NO RESERVE!! - 120340048318
Here is anice 6 row 30″ International 863 corn head. I have owned this head for the last8 years. This past summer I bought a 1063 head at a farm auction and don’t have a need for 2 heads, so I have decided to sell this one. The tin is pretty straight overall but the end snouts are a little banged up but work just fine. The auger has a couple small bends in it that could use straightened…but it works just fine as it is.Thisis the original paint on the head…it has never been repainted. When I bought the head, I was told that it hadbeen used on less than 1000 acres of corn. I ran approx 120 acres per year throught it since I have had it and ran about 20 acres through it this year just to make sure everything runs ok. I have always kept good maintainence on the head and replaced any chains or sprokets as needed. It does have thechain guard door missing on the one side. It does a great job and willrun through corn up to about 3.5 MPH with no problem.The newer heads run a little faster, but I don’t think my new 1063 does any better of a job at 3.5 MPH or less. I tried to take good pictures to show the head from all angles. I have it for sale locally for $2750 and reserve the right to end the auction early. I am going to let it go at no reserve if I don’t sell it locally first. I’ve told you everything I know about thisheadand it is being sold as is. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding!
