    Up for auction is a 2005 Titan gooseneck trailer. Specs: Trailer weight is 7000 pds gvw is 14,000 pds. Tailer has brakes on all 4 tires. Three tires have about 3/4 tread life andthe other is new. Trailer sides measure 8ft. The sides are welded atop the frame so they can be removed. The only reason I am selling this trailer because I no longer need it. I was blessed to get a great deal on it when I bought it so that is why the price is low. I am the second owner. The tires are all like new. Axles are straight as an arrow. All the lights work. The hydraulics are better than new. Additions/Modifications: This trailer had a heavy duty pump installed as well as a 10.000 psi needle valve….the needle valve allows for really slow or really fast lowering of bed. The valve also saves the pump because if you leave it open while you haul you will never have pressure on the pump….This trailer has the very large hydraulic cylinder. What the salesmen don’t tell you is that the pump it comes with (600.00) is very weak and the way these trailers are designed you will always have pressure on the pump. Thus, as you drive down the road with a load and the dump body moves the o-rings blow. I installed a very very large pump and the needle valve. (over 2,000.00 in the pump, valve and fittings). The system works better than new. The trailer weighs 7000 pds and is rated for 14,000pds (it has the huge hydraulic cylinder). Tobetter understand, these dump bodies on these trailers have no locking assembly to lock the body to the bed. Thus, they move up and down as you drive. Although the movement is slight, the line to the pump holds pressure and the o rings eventually blow on the pump. The system installed on this trailer was built starting with apump twice as strong. The pump also has an extra solenoid attached to it. The system still uses the electric button to lift the bed. The system had a tee and a 10,000 pd. needle valve installed for the lowering of the bed. This allows for the operator to let the trailer down with precision (real slow or real fast). It also corrects the problem with pump failure. When you open the valve the fluid is released back into the pump resivor and if you leave the valve open while hauling, the pump will never have pressure on the line. Thus, eleminating the pump failure problem for ever. I also just painted the outside of the trailer and put new reflectors. I am no professional but I think it looks fine.
