Woodchuck 12″ wood chipper Altec - 330282600456
Altec Woodchuck 12″ chipper with a 300ci ford industrial engine, the unit runsand chips great. The engine runs well, starts easily, does not smoke or use oil. The battery, voltage regulator, exhaust system and gauges have been replaced. The enginealso has had a tuneup and oil change. The unit does not have an hour meter. The blades were sharpened and drum bearings replaced just priorto my purchase and we probably have no more than 20 hrs on it since. The tires are in good shape and it does come with a spare. The lights and wiring have been replaced and work well. The hitch was converted to a pintle and a new deflector chute was installed. The complete axle assembly is new wheelto wheel. Towing the unit should be no problem. It was originally yellow and someone did a less than adequate job painting it white, it has a fair amount of surface rust and could definely use a repaint. There are no holes or broken welds that i can see. It is not hydraulic feed and will pull material out of your hand with ease and chips very quickly. Good starter unit ready to work. The only mechanical issue is an exhaust manifold leak. I estimate this being an eighties era unit. It is being sold as is with no warranty. You are welcome to inspect the unit. It is pick up only, although I can deliver it up to 50 miles for a fee. The unit is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.Good luck bidding!
